Women’s History Month

One of the ways women are celebrating Women’s History Month is by supporting female-owned businesses and artisans at Miami’s Perez Art Museum, PAMM Shop. Discover stylish fashions and unique gifts, all crafted by women, and empower the women in your life with every purchase. 

Of course, I picked the ring because older women become more invisible in society every day. I am as aggressive as any woman can get so I notice how older women are being treated and portrayed. I was aghast when I read some of the comments being made on social media about NBC anchor Andrea Mitchell the other day when she retired from her daily program, Andrea Mitchell Reports. She was the best of the best but yet there was reference to “females aging out.” 

I beg women to call out those who pull that nonsense. Women get stronger as we get older. We have seen it all and we know better than most what matters in life. Our insight, common sense, and ability to get things done far outweigh any age group. 

You can kiss our ring the next time you see us. Some of you already do. Thank you.
